ABOUT THE DRIVE
American Book Drive is collecting used books, CD's and DVD's benefiting the Los Angeles County affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the cure.
Our campaign salvages tens of thousands of books from going unused or dumped into landfills every year. Instead, books are resold through our network of online-marketplaces, at festivals, book fairs and/or our $5 or Less Book Store. Book donations we are unable to sell are recycled, or screened for quality and re-donated to local libraries and other charities
Our streamlined process of collecting, sorting and reselling used books allows us to turn your donations into needed funds to help in the fight against breast cancer.
ABOUT SUSAN G. KOMEN
Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.
That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.9 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

Over 200 Books, CD's and/or DVD's? Click here to schedule a FREE home pick up. Don't worry about boxes, our driver will come prepared to pack up and pickup the items you are interested in donating.
OFFICE BOOK DRIVE
Show your support for the Los Angeles affiliate of Susan G. Komen For The Cure and their fight against breast cancer by hosting a collection box in your lobby/office. Allow your staff and tenants to donate their used books, CDs and DVDs while supporting such a great cause. ABD will provide everything needed for a successful event and service each collection box once a week. All donations will be credited to the Susan G. Komen LA Book Drive. Contact us today!
SHOW YOUR SUPPORT
We are looking for partnerships with business owners in Los Angeles County that share our vision and are willing to host a collection bin, in a location based on convenience and safety.
Our objective is to provide communities with an easy/green alternative to donating their used books, CDs and DVDs, while supporting such a worthy cause.
